Garden tips and tools to maintain your artificial turf
Artificial turf has among its many advantages its easy maintenance. With little care, this type of synthetic grass always looks like new.
Synthetic grass does not need to be mowed, watered or fertilized.
We simply recommend:
- Cooling, especially in the warmer months. For this you will need a hose. A light hose also removes dust and gives your lawn a fresher look and feel.
- Brushing, so that the lawn recovers its verticality, after an intense traffic of people or pets. It is best to use a stiff, long-stranded brush.
- Raking and sweeping, to remove the remains of leaves or branches from your garden. The best are the conventional plastic rakes, since the forged or metal ones can damage the artificial turf. You can also use a leaf blower that makes this task easier and avoids raking.
- Clean in case of stains. Do not use chemical substances that may deteriorate the artificial turf. Use neutral soap and rinse with water. And finally, let it dry completely.
