In Albergrass we manufacture one of the best artificial grasses in the market, and we are always trying to improve it.
Thinking about how to improve our High Tech range, we ran into a problem: what can we do to improve it if the product itself is already one of the best on the market?
So one morning someone from the R&D department said, “What if we made a three-in-one? After coffee, the team got down to work.
The first one we already had: it was the Ver de Verde perfume, the first perfume in the world for artificial turf that Albergrass launched a few years ago.
Ver de Verde was a perfume that made artificial grass smell like freshly cut grass. It became an immediate success, generating interest from consumers, distributors and the media; well, and also from a Chinese company that soon tried to copy it.
Now all that was left was to find two and three.
The three-in-one challenge
Now the innovation was focused on making the perfume more than just a perfume.
After many months of work the answer was on the table: the first product for artificial turf that:
- Perfumes: makes the artificial grass smell for hours like freshly cut grass (obviously without cutting it).
