The key lies in the raw material: Nylon.

The backing curl of artificial grass can be made using three types of raw materials as a base: polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), or nylon-polyamide (PA).

The first two polymers provide good performance for the grass, but the last one… Nylon… allows us to manufacture the most durable grass you’ll find on the market.

Nylon is so strong that it’s used to make the safest parachutes in the world.

Once reaching nearly 4,000 meters in altitude, the parachutist jumps and can reach speeds of up to 250 km/h during freefall.

At 1,500 meters, the parachute is deployed to start slowing down until landing.

That very parachute is made from nylon, which is why it’s so strong, durable, and safe — the perfect material to make a risky sport extremely safe.
