Photocatalysis, how does it work?

Atmös in four steps:

1. Atmös creates a long-lasting, invisible, slim and resistant layer of nanoparticles above the artificial grass.

2. When the UV rays contact Atmös, it activates a chemical reaction which transforms the oxygen (O2) and the humidity (H2O) of the environment into two powerful cleaning agents. The O2 is transformed into superoxidative anions (O2-) and the H2O is transformed into hydroxyls (OH-).

3. The radical hydroxyls (OH-) work on the COV’s and the PM 2,5 as well as the PM 10. They convert into vapour (H2O) and a small residual amount of CO2.

4. The superoxidative anions (02-) intercede with the NOx, transforming them into harmless salts (NO3), easily soluble in water.
